I liked the various fonts used. They were even clever enough to use a stethoscope as a letter S.

The graphics used in this front page was surprising. In this Columbian Newspaper the headline is trying to show how a mother is being blamed for her child to becoming blind. The graphic showing the tears and the discoloring of the eye makes you think of how bad the beating most of been.

The photos for this brazilian newspaper seems to explain the stories. I like how they are strategically placed. From the top being politics and ending with soccer.

This Photo essay is by Hiroyuki Ito, who has lived in NYC for 17 years. He’s taken some incredible pictures demonstrating the vast cultural life of the city. The cool thing is he doesn’t go around looking for inspiration but randomly takes photos that get developed when his fruit bowl is overly cluttered with his film.
